Most mosque / musalla may be locked especially outside prayer time. Usually you may need to call and obtain a pin code to enter.
Keep / bring a spray bottle / prayer mat / kiblat pointer when travelling.
You may pray at open spaces such as at public park / beach. Do so by taking turns and not where there are many passers-by.
